In early 2025, Infiniti IT was engaged by B3Living in collaboration with office fit-out specialists Spacio, to deliver a new primary edge data centre at B3Living’s new office location. The project formed a key part of the organisation’s wider office relocation, ensuring that critical IT infrastructure was established, tested and fully operational ahead of staff occupation.
Our team provided a comprehensive end to end solution covering all stages of the project lifecycle. This included initial concept design and detailed technical planning, full construction and installation, seamless migration of existing systems and the implementation of comprehensive maintenance services.

Working in close partnership with B3 Living, we designed and delivered a solution that not only met immediate operational requirements but also provided a robust platform for future expansion. Our specialist team delivered a fully phased design and build solution, providing complete project management and site supervision in line with CDM requirements. This comprehensive package ensured a seamless transition from concept to completion, delivering a high performance and future ready edge data centre.
- Initial strip out works followed by installation of a heavy duty raised access floor and ceiling void.
- Construction of a 1-hour fire-rated enclosure with full fire boarding and sealing to ensure compliance and resilience.
- Electrical system design and installation, including a new MPDU with changeover, bypass panels, CPDUs and complete cabinet power distribution cabling.
- 9.3kW precision cooling systems and associated condensers installed for efficient thermal management.
- Fresh air ventilation system with pressure relief. Fire and smoke dampers with dedicated gas extraction system.
- Installation of a 10kVA UPS system providing uninterrupted power supply and system reliability.
- Emergency lighting systems installed for safety and compliance.
- Supply and installation of three 42U data cabinets with structured cable management solutions.
- OM4 fibre cabling infrastructure for high speed data connectivity.
- Deployment of a bespoke EMS (Environmental Monitoring System) for advanced remote monitoring and performance insight.
- Comprehensive handover and training sessions provided for onsite IT support staff and data centre operators.
Data Centre Migration
Following the completion of the new edge data centre facility, we successfully provided a full infrastructure migration within a single day. The project encompassed the relocation and commissioning of critical systems including storage area networks (SANs), servers and core network switches.
This was achieved through meticulous planning, precise coordination and a well structured execution strategy designed to minimise disruption to ongoing business operations. The seamless transition highlighted our dedicated team's ability to manage technically demanding migrations under strict time constraints while maintaining the highest standards of reliability and security.
