Reduce energy consumption with a data centre, server room, computer room or comms room energy efficiency audit, assessment & report with award winning UK based specialist INFINITI IT, and reduce your operational running costs by up to 40%. Benefit with considerable annual savings in energy consumption and make a significant contribution to your overall CRC (Carbon Reduction Commitment).

The energy efficiency audit follows the recommendations as outlined in the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centre Efficiency and is used in conjunction with INFINITI’s time served experience of data centre design & build projects from over the past 15+ years.

Our experienced consultants require half or full day on site depending on the size and complexity of the facilities in question to carry out the audits. Then another day to complete the report and recommendations or briefing document. Information provided with the report will be potential savings in terms of energy consumption and the ROI (return on investment) for any upgrade of power and cooling plant. The level of detail required and information within the assessments can be tailored to suit your specific requirements

Our non-intrusive review will identify and target areas for savings and provide a realistic ROI. In most cases payback periods of 12 months or less are achievable.

Savings

Annualised cost to support a 100kW critical IT load including cooling systems at 10p per kWh

PUE 2.5 = £219,000 / 1,321 tons annual carbon. Typical of legacy inefficient Data Centres.

PUE 1.8 = £157,680 / 951 tons annual carbon.  All Data Centres should operate here as a minimum.

PUE 1.5 = £131,400 / 792 tons annual carbon. New build facilities aim for a PUE of 1.5, efficient.

PUE 1.2 = £105,120 / 634 tons annual carbon. Modern designs with best practises, very efficient.
